Question: My snapper won't eat, what should I do ?

Answer: First don't panic. The thing to do a such time is to check if the environment is right. Sometimes they will refuse to eat in filthy water - which should always be kept clean. The main factor is the right temperature. Snappers will loose interest in food when the water is too cold. They are reptiles, a cold blooded animals, and can't produce their own heat. In cold water they become 'sleepy' and sluggish, and will not eat. Adjusting temperatures to the right level is the best thing to do. Also, you have to make sure that you are giving your snapper the proper food. They are not vegeterians, and will never refuse a snack of fish or red meat.
