When visiting a pet shop to buy a turtle, or any other reptile or animal, please pay attention to how they keep and treat their animals.
Fithy crowded enclosures mean diseaster. Animals kept in unsanitary conditions are prone to illness and death. They will bring
the new owner nothing but a headache. The sale stuff at a good pet shop should be able to give you information about the animal's history and
how to properly care for it.
