A short introduction

The Snapping Turtle Page has been on the WWW since 1998. It was first hosted for free on Geocities.com. As it's popularity increased, the monthly alloted bandwidth eventually exceeded the 3 Gb limit and in 2001 the site got it's present domain - Chelydra.Org. Soon, it has moved to it's own place on the internet.

With an ever increasing numbers of visitors, Chelydra.Org soon became one of the top sites in search results for 'snapping turtle' with all the major search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.. Soon after, it has moved its way up to the undisputed No. 1.
