The alligator snapping turtles are omnivorous, which means they will eat either animal and vegetable matter.
Their favorite food is fish, but they will also eat clams, frogs, snakes, carrion, occational duck and other turtles.
They will also eat aquatic vegetation, and all sorts of berries that fall into the water.
