Question: Where should I keep my pet snapper ?

Answer: People keep their snappers in variety of enclosures. It is very easy to aintain them in a small aquarium or plastic container when they are small. The problem arrises when they grow bigger. An adult large snapper will require a huge tank or even better a pond. Some people use cattle feeding containers for their large snappers, or plastic fish ponds. The most important thing when keeping snappers, and any other water turtle species, is the maintaining of water quality. The bigger the tank the more expensive and difficult it gets.
